Michelle is featured in a new book called “Queenslanders All Over” which was officially launched at Parliament House by The Premier, Anna Bligh on Wednesday June 24. 130 prominent Queenslanders are featured in this book, written by Joan Burton-Jones. According to Joan, the aim of the book is to be “a ‘signpost’ in Queensland’s historic 150th year of who was here, where we’ve come from and where we’re aiming to go in the future.” Its an honour for Michelle to be included, though after 20 years as a Principal Dancer for The Queensland Ballet and her hard work as a Director of the Queensland Performing Arts Trust, it is very well-deserved. Congratulations Michelle!!! Needless to say Michelle enjoyed hobnobbing with all thPauline Crowe and the Premier of Queensland herself, Anna Blighe dignitaries at Parliament House and spreading the word about 2ballerinas!
