We have lots of exciting and important announcements –
NEW VENUE
We will be moving some classes to a hall at 80 Enoggera Tce Red Hill, a lovely big space with high ceilings called the “Boys Brigade Hall”. It’s just a few minutes up the road from the Bardon studios.
The Tuesday Level 1 class moves to this new venue on September 17th and the upcoming new Introduction Courses will commence there on Tuesday 8th and Saturday 12th October.
There will be more classes to come in this venue and we will let you know when this happens.

SATURDAY CLASS TIME CHANGES – FROM SEPTEMBER 21st
We have adjusted the ballet class times in the Lizzie St Hall on a Saturday allowing for more time between classes for students to come and go.

WORKSHOPS
We are excited to announce two new workshops on Sunday November 3rd.

10am – 12pm |
Focus on Technique |
Moving with control and fluidity in ballet. In this workshop you will learn techniques of how to sustain movements and move smoothly between steps. Teacher – Grant McLeay.

1 – 3.30 pm Afternoon |
Repertoire – The Nutcracker. |
Learn some fun dance sequences from the traditional Christmas Ballet. Teacher – Karen Donovan.
Cost: $45 for one or $80 for two.
NEW TEACHER
We would like to welcome Kathleen Doody to our school who will be another invaluable teacher on the teaching team. Kathleen will be taking over some of Iona’s classes as sadly we are losing her to Melbourne. However we wish her the very best in her new ventures and we hope that she will return to visit Brisbane and 2ballerinas soon!
20 CLASS CARDS
We now have 20 class cards for $240.
They have an expiry date after 3 months.
TICKETS TO EXPRESSIONS DANCE COMPANY – When Time Stops -don’t miss this amazing work!!
We were invited to watch a studio run through of this new work on Friday and it is beautiful – dramatic and moving. Just stunning choreography and amazing dancers. We can’t wait to see it on stage now.
We have a few tickets in our group booking left if you would like to join us –
Saturday September 14th at 7.30 at The Playhouse at QPAC.
They cost $42.
