There is a lot to catch up on - special workshops, a new class, new teacher, a date for our Christmas Party and some of our students doing amazing things -

ONE OFF WORKSHOPS IN SEPTEMBER

Sarah Thompson will be taking the four following workshops that have a special focus - beneficial for Ballet Level 1 and above.

Tuesday 19th Sept - 9.30am and 6.15pm.
A closer look at centre practice.

Tuesday 26th Sept - 9.30am and 6.15pm.
A deep dive in to pirouettes and strengthening for jumps.

Please bring a thera-band as Sarah will be giving specific exercises that relate to the class focus.

NEW CLASS -  MUSIC THEATRE JAZZ - THURSDAYS 11.15am STARTS OCTOBER 12th

Sarah Thompson will be taking this class that will suit Jazz Level 1 and up.

NEW TEACHER WELCOME

We would like to welcome Joanna Nash to the 2b teaching team. Jo is teaching the Jazz Level 3 on Sunday 10.15am class and the Tap Level 1 on Wednesdays until the end of October.

WESTFIELD HEROES - VOTE FOR JOHN!

Many of you may know our student John Bigmore - he is a very kind and generous person who has been doing ballet with us for many years, along with doing many of the handyman jobs around our studios - he is always offering to fix things for us. John is one of three people who have been nominated as finalists for the very worthy Westfield Hero program.
The award is for his services as a volunteer at the Hummingbird House Children’s Hospice.

PERFORMANCES COMING UP!

Some exciting news for some of our students - they have been selected to perform in two of the Lord Mayors Seniors Cabaret showcases. There were 290 acts auditioning and 50 have been selected to perform in the showcases.

If you would like to go along and support our students you can see them perform at the following times. Both are free events. 

A music theatre cabaret act with Merryn singing and 2b dancers, choreographed by Nat.
