In this newsletter we have some teacher and class changes, Christmas Party dances announcement and new costs..

TEACHER AND CLASS UPDATES AND NEW CLASS ON SUNDAYS

We would like to welcome Victor Smith to our teaching team. Victor has only just recently retired from an amazing performing career. He has performed numerous leading roles in both the classical and contemporary repertoire, dancing as Principal and Soloist. Have a look at his biography here.

Victor will be taking a new class on Sundays Ballet Pro Level at 11.15 - 12.45pm starting from October 13th. This class will be suitable for advanced students, ex professional and professional dancers.

We would also like to welcome Mina Aanat as a guest teacher for various Jazz and Tap classes coming up.

Gemma Pearce has returned to teach Tuesday mornings Introduction to Ballet, Ballet Level 1 and Pointe Beginner/Level 1.

The Jazz level 1 Tuesday class at 12pm with Gail Bubb has finished for the year and will return next year.

Note on replacement teachers 

We have noticed that when a regular teacher is away the class sizes at times drastically reduce to just 1 or 2 people. Unfortunately it becomes difficult for us to financially keep running classes if they get low too often. We understand that people get attached to their regular teacher but please be assured we have wonderful highly experienced teachers to fill in so we encourage you to try someone new. 

CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCES AND PARTY DATE

Our end of year get together will be held on Saturday, December 14th at 4pm. Please put this date in your calendars.

For those that are new to the school, this is an informal fun get together where some classes do a little dance to share with everyone what they have been learning in their classes. Only a small part of the class will be taken up to learn and practice the dance, so even if you don't want to perform its just like learning an exercise that you get to practise more.

Combined classes - Pointe Level 1 Tuesday and Pointe Level 1 Saturday 4.45pm with Larissa

CLASS PRICES

We have tried to keep our prices down but due to increases in running costs we need to increase in our prices just a little. These will come into effect from next week Monday 14th October.
