Maureen is a Brisbane-based in-demand theatre maker specialising in the dual roles of Director and Choreographer, changing the world one jazz hand at a time.
Starting out her career as a performer, Maureen had the pleasure of shaking her tail-feather in many major musicals at QPAC in Brisbane alongside Australian theatre legends – Jon English, Simon Gallaher, Ian Stenlake, Daryl Somers, Frank Woodley, Julie Anthony and many more.
As a director and choreographer, recent credits include The World Goes Round and Little Shop of Horrors for the Central Queensland University Conservatorium of Music in Mackay; Spamalot, The Ultimate Abba Experience, Jesus Christ Superstar for Lynch and Paterson at the Twelfth Night Theatre in Brisbane; the South East Queensland tours of book week productions for Melbourne based company Perform Educational Musicals; Australian and New Zealand tours of Menopause the Musical with SK Entertainment; Matilda and The Little Mermaid for Wavell State High School.
In her spare time you can find Maureen cuddling her tiny dog, throwing too much glitter at things and reading library books.
